Meet the Board: Bev Bradford

Meet the Board is a new feature wherein we’ll share a bit more about the IMLA board members.  We’d like to be more than just a bunch of pretty faces.

Meet Bev:

photoHello to all you middle school/junior high folks. I was one of the founders of the Idaho Middle Level Association (IMLA). We are starting our 26th year.

I started in education in 1968 as a teacher in the McCall-Donnelly School District. I taught three years and then spent twelve years as a junior high principal. After fifteen years in McCall, I moved to the Treasure Valley where I spent four years as an Intermediate School principal, eight years as a middle school principal and eight years as a district office administrator. I retired in 2003. I have worked, part time , for Idaho Digital Learning Academy (IDLA) for nine years as a Regional Coordinator in Region 3.

I live in the Treasure Valley during the winter and in McCall during the summer. I love the mountains and its animals. I always hate closing up for the winter and am more than anxious to get back in the spring.

I love to travel and have been fortunate to travel many places in the world as well as here in the United States. In a couple of weeks, I travel to New York City and then take a cruise up the New England coast, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

I hope your year is off to a great start and I look forward to seeing everyone at our conference the end of February.
